Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Always maintain and promote safe work practices.
- Participate in safety programs.
- Train and supervise subordinates in safety and accident prevention practices to assure a safe employee and working environment.
- Provides supervision, training, and leadership to ensure that employees are performing assigned work properly.
- Build and foster business relationships with growers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Collaborate with growers and plant production personnel to coordinate deliveries with plant needs.
- Responsible for training, evaluation, and direction of employees involved in raw product deliveries.
- Assure that the field equipment and the operations of the equipment follows Lamb-Weston guidelines.
- Direct the movement of raw product from the source to the plant, to assure that plant raw product needs are met in a manner consistent with goals.
- Inspects automotive equipment, scheduling needed repair or service work.
- Coordinates operation and maintenance of equipment, storage facilities, and repair facilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises 2 to 6 subordinate employees within the field department during peak seasonal periods.
- Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Studies, Business, Science or equivalent is strongly recommended; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
