a day in the life
Reporting directly to the SVP, AGGI Strategic Enablement & New Business, the Director, AGGI Strategic Business Operations has a vital role in the success of the North America business.  This position will support the overall demands of this high energy, fast paced team.  This role is responsible for creating and establishing systems and processes that enable efficient, streamlined and focused operations of the AGGI leadership team.  This role is responsible for the long term and short-term strategy coordination, planning, execution and governance of the AGGI Engagement portfolio.  This role is integrated into our enterprise functions including but not limited to LEO, Strategy, FP&A, P&C, IDEA, and L&D, to build and design process and frameworks to ensure regional business strategy & success of AGGI.  They are focused on standing up this function, creating new process where needed and creating efficiency in the operating model to enable a unified approach with a highly engaged team.  This role knows that the success of the region is tied to collective success.

responsibilities

  • Manages & Coordinates AGGI AOP process & budgeting, updating dashboards & KPIs for President of AGGI
  • Long Range Planning to Business Rhythms – This role is the centralized point of coordination for AGGI. With enterprise functions including LEO, Strategy, P&C, IDEA, and with the FP&A team, the role manages & coordinates the timelines of key workstreams, including board documents, Strat Plan, OP, AOP and Governance of OKR’s, while keeping AGGI leaders coordinated and enrolled in our strategy.
  • This role is responsible for creating and establishing systems and processes that enable efficient, streamlined and focused operations of the AGGI leadership team.
  • Responsible for creating an overall engagement strategy for AGGI in partnership with our comms teams to ensure we have the right tactics and communication plan to allow the AGGI organization to ensure strong engagement of all our employees.
  • The role oversees the creation of town halls, Senior Leadership Team visits and all events that bring the teams together. This role supports the Senior leadership team with offsites and content creation with the business needs in mind.
  • Leads strategic direction and execution (design, planning, and project management) of AGGI events including coordination of enterprise-wide events, presentations and Board/Investor meetings
  • Partners with the Strategy team to prepare materials and presentations for Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors for President of AGGI
  • Collaborates with the AGGI leadership team to determine and prioritize AGGI strategy including managing the AGGI calendar and partnership with other organizations.
  • Designs process and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Partners with Global and North America Communications team to ensure efficient execution of centralized AGGI communication strategy 
  • Partners with Learning and Leadership on AGGI wide learning opportunities 
  • Drive the creation and execution of the annual and quarterly AGGI processes with key enterprise partners to build key moments for strategy alignment, people development and connection
  • Create and oversee the annual and quarterly AGGI budget processes connected to people, strategy and corporate governance
  • Maintains highly confidential information for the business, team, or leadership and ensures information is handled appropriately
  • Directly manages, develops, and mentors the Senior Executive Assistant to the President’s office


qualifications
  • +10 years experience in a senior management role of a related field 
  • 5-8 years experience working in operations for a vertically integrated global retail apparel company 
  • Previous Engagement & Communications experience desired 
  • Project management – stakeholder engagement and program execution and change management 
  • Microsoft Office program proficiency (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Adobe, Smart Sheet) 
  • Business acumen – understand business drivers and creates opportunities to connect with the business directly to learn about its needs and perspectives and be seen as a credible functional expert 
  • Agenda Shaping & influence - proactively shape the ideas and agendas of stakeholders and credible activism/advocacy 
  • Two-way advocacy – ability to stand in resistance when required 
  • Strong & Leading Self, Others and Org as well as a strong facilitator and able to move at the speed of the business

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $149,800 to $196,700 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
