Agro Delivery Driver - Lacombe - Central Alberta Co-Op

Our Lacombe Agro Site is looking for a part-time Agro Delivery Driverto join our team.

Part-time: 24-36 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays - mornings (8:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 5:00 PM) and Weekends - mornings (8:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 5:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service,
• Deliver fertilizer and custom application equipment to customers,
• Provide assistance to Operations,
• Ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner,
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner,
• Ensure proper and safe use of PPE,
• Keep the yard and warehouse free of obstructions and organized,
• Adhere to company standards, including H&S and loss prevention,
• Perform shipping and receiving duties as required,
• Demonstrate safe and efficient loading and unloading,
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks,
• Assist co-workers and team leaders as needed,
• Other duties as required by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 Driver's License, with air - must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
• Knowledge of Central Alberta and surrounding area to successfully navigate is an asset,
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.,
• Training will be provided on-site.
