JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide customized consulting services in the form of crop production recommendations in Crop rotations, fertility (micro/macro & Variable rate), soil testing, field scouting, weed and disease management.
- Work with the team to implement fertility and integrated pest management programs.
- Management and record keeping of field boundaries, soil sampling, field scouting, and production.
- Manage scouting and staging of various agricultural crops and pastures including weed and pest identification in various stages; follow-up post herbicide/pesticide application.
- Soil sampling interpretation (when required).
- Consistently develop knowledge of new products in chemical, fertilizer, and seed technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Agricultural diploma or designation (CCA or P, Ag) is preferred, university degree an asset. Those with Agronomic experience in the industry interested please apply.
- Attain/maintain CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) accreditation.
- Demonstrated understanding of the agricultural industry and agronomy best practices.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, work independently to produce efficient, effective results.
- Shows leadership, interpersonal, and strong communication skills. Is a team player.
- Strong technical and organizational skills
- Proficient use of computer hardware/Microsoft Office/program software/internet to compile, maintain, and update various information.
- Accountability, Adaptability and Flexibility required for a rapidly changing business environment.

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
