Airport Operations Representative

This position will represent Japan Airlines (JAL) as an Airport Operations Representative at Vancouver International Airport by providing superb quality services to our customers.

● Supervise and work with entrustment companies to ensure high quality service delivery for our International customers

● Oversee various customer related matters including but not limited to check in,

reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, arrival and boarding formalities, and VIP assistance.

● Handle any irregular situations that may arise

● Flight operations duty to control overall process of flight handling by closely monitoring handling progress, weather conditions, and any related irregularities

● Take actions on maintaining coordination among person in charge, related authorities and crew members to ensure on-time and safe flight operations

● Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

● Must be authorized to work in Canada and preferably reside in the Greater Vancouver Regional area (no visa support available)

● Prior Airline customer service experience required: 1 year (preferred)

● Must be available to work on weekends and holidays

● Must be able to obtain Airport Security clearance from Transport Canada

● Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a team player

● Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks while paying attention to customer service

● Proficiency in MS office products such as Google work suite, Word & Excel, Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications:

● Knowledge in Amadeus Altea Check In /Reservation system

● Bilingual English and Japanese language skills

● Hospitality management skills

Pay: $36,000.00-$43,200.00 per year
