The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for vendor statement reconciliations, as well as reporting related to Purchase to Pay functions. This position will be responsible for problem identification, analysis, and resolution of Receipt Not Vouchered, Suppliers in Credit, Pre-Authorized Debit, and other aged payables transaction reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Vendor Statement reconciliations: analysis, problem identification and resolution related to missing invoices, unposted credits, duplicate payments.
- Payment reporting and analysis: Duplicate Payment reporting, Paid on Time Reporting, preauthorized debit reconciliation, Overdue transactions, etc.
- Analysis, reporting, and resolution of Aged Receipts not Vouchered and Suppliers in Credit/held supplier payments.
- Cash Disbursement Forecasting and analysis of outstanding items on bank reconciliation.
- Variance Analysis related to general ledger account reconciliations.
- Analyze information and provide results with the requirements of periodic audits; internal risk and controls, as well as external auditors.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance / Accounting related functions.
- Working knowledge of large ERP Systems: JDE, SAP, Peoplesoft, Great Plains or similar.
- Working knowledge of the 'procure to pay' process, including automated workflow approval systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with focus on being an Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
- Strong critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
