Job Description

Are you passionate about understanding the consumer and human behaviour? Are you an intellectually curious individual who is highly driven to uncover human needs and desires? Are you energized by using integrative thinking to solve tough business problems, using diverse sources of knowledge from analytics to psychology? Are you able to discover the story in all the noise and identify what really matters? If so, then a role in the Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization is for you! We are looking for a dynamic, passionate individual to join our Analytics & Insights team in Toronto beginning March 2024.

In A&I, we combine in-depth human insights and advanced analytics to directly influence business strategy, product design, pricing, media investments, retail, go to market strategy… and much more! We use our boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it, and how we can influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis, and good research.

We use state of the art analytics tools to dig deep in the data, identifying key business drivers and assessing the impact of investments like advertising and in store promotions. At the same time, we are also driven to meet individual consumers wherever they are to uncover nuanced human truths that they themselves may not be aware of. We answer questions like: Who are our target consumers? What motivates them? How do we best reach them? How can we build exciting in-store and online shopper experiences? And… What’s next?

Key Responsibilities:

Our A&I Managers serve as internal business strategy consultants, whose role it is to ensure that both quantitative and qualitative consumer and shopper insights are the foundations of our business strategy and execution. You will work on multi-functional business teams – with Brand Management, Finance, Sales, and others – to constantly explore new opportunities for business growth.

A&I Managers lead innovation in the ad tech space to stay in front of new industry standards and metrics, while driving application of these metrics with P&G brands. They use big data, machine learning, and algorithms to develop advanced optimizations that we can apply to our media in real time. They create media reporting, visualizations, and analytic approaches to influence the category or brand media plan.

You will:

· Deliver analytic insights in media performance including reach, cost, and effectiveness metrics to drive revenue and share performance.

· Develop in-depth business, analytical, and systems knowledge to improve/build analytical solutions, approaches, and business recommendations.

· Design experiments to measure media experience and derive insights from unstructured, complex, and large data sets across the industry

· Your key to success will be your ability to build on and combine your passion for consumer understanding with soft and analytical skills to convey research findings and drive actions with your key business partners across levels and functions.

We believe people are endlessly captivating and that there’s always something new to discover. So, here’s your opportunity! We’re looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our thriving analytics and insights team.
