We are looking for an API Integration Specialist (Payments) to support our business growth in Toronto. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reporting to the IT Director, the API Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining seamless support for merchants to integrate with our payment system. This position requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal system functionality.

How you will contribute:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of merchant's systems, applications, and technologies to understand their functionalities and interdependencies.
- Identify integration points and data flow requirements between our payment API and merchant's application.
- Collaborate with developers and system architects to ensure the successful deployment of integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, including API document, design specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide training to end-users and support teams on the proper usage and maintenance of integration solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide updates on integration projects and address any challenges.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Min 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Integration Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in payment APIs.
- Must be familiar with the following programming languages: Java, C#. PHP, JavaScript, HTML
- Familiarity with APIs, web services (REST) and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex integration issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
The successful candidate will be working at our Leslie Street Head Office, Mon to Fri 900am to 530pm.
