As an integral member of the Front of House Management Team, your role focuses on providing consistent service and excellence to our members and their guests by delivering outstanding hospitality.
This position will be a full-time seasonal contract from March to November. You will work closely with the Clubhouse Manager to maintain all service operations in promoting and ensuring member satisfaction. You will help to oversee our F&B operations in all three dining areas of the clubhouse, the patios, and our on-course outlets. You will be responsible for assisting the Clubhouse Manager in onboarding new and returning staff, as well as training and monitoring employee performance throughout the season. You are expected to perform bartending and serving duties as needed during busy periods.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor dining outlets for, service, safety, cleanliness, and well-being of members and their guests.
- Address member/guest concerns, complaints, comments, followed by an immediate resolution.
- Comply with all operations manuals, opening and closing procedures, restaurant procedures, cleaning schedules, and all other duties required to execute daily routines efficiently.
- Maintain continuous inspections of all outlets to ensure that members are served efficiently, professionally, and courteously.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards and communicate any issues with the Clubhouse Manager.
- Bartend, and assist the FOH staff during busy times.
- Operational functions of POS system.
- Develop daily cocktail specials and wine pairings as needed. Design daily feature sheets through Canva and program the menus in the POS system.
- Assist in the preparation, set-up and maintenance of event spaces.
- Assist as required with receiving deliveries and thoroughly checking invoices for product quality and quantity.
- Assist management with recruitment and training of employees and be knowledgeable about staff rules and regulations, Club philosophy, and safe working practices.
- Build and maintain a positive work environment, ensuring each of the team members are set up for success, providing them with on the floor leadership and proper resourcesto do their job.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role in a Food and Beverage environment
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Passion for food, wine and exceptional guest service.
- Self-motivated individual with strong leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Impeccable attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts; including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication (speak, read, write)
- Constant standing, bending and walking throughout the shift.
- Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Compensation: Weekly Salary of $900 - $1000 plus gratuities
