Food & Beverage Assistant Manager

Lookout Point Country Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor. The successful candidate must make decisions that will create a positive work environment for the staff to work efficiently and for the members and their guests to enjoy time in a wonderful dining setting at our private golf club.

Job Summary:

Assist in the effective & efficient day to day Food & Beverage service operation of the Club. Including but not limited to supervision of staff, management of equipment, assist with product inventory levels and ordering, assist with booking, coordinating and the execution of banquet events.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years in the Food & Beverage service industry
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in the Food & Beverage service industry
• Must be Smart Serve certified and Food Handlers certified
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to multi task, work under pressure, work well with others, be approachable and detail oriented
• Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of wines and spirits
• Knowledge of Microsoft computer programs is necessary
• Knowledge of Point of Sale programs is necessary
• Graduate of a hotel restaurant & event management or hospital restaurant operations program is an asset
• Kitchen knowledge & experience is an asset

The rate of pay for this position is $950 per week plus gratuities. This is a year round position.
