Job Title: Banquet Supervisor

Pay Range: $17.00 -$25.00

Job Type: Seasonal – potential to become year-round.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in a dynamic banquet/ restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all details are handled seamlessly.
• Coordinate with event planners, clients, and vendors to meet specific requirements.
• Supervise banquet staff, providing direction and support during events.
• Conduct pre-event meetings to communicate expectations and ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Interact with clients and guests to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Address any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the event.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the venue meets quality and safety standards.
• Train and develop banquet staff, ensuring they are well-prepared for various types of events.
• Provide ongoing coaching to enhance performance and customer service skills.
• Manage inventory of banquet supplies and coordinate with the catering team for Food and Beverage requirements.
• Oversee logistics, including room setup, audiovisual equipment, and other event-specific needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banquet operations or event management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of banquet software and basic computer skills.
