Executive Chef

isaiah tubbs resort is located in Prince Edward County, Ontario's most rapidly developing culinary mecca. We are looking for a team member to elevate our restaurant to the next level. This position requires reliable personal transportation as no public transportation is available.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the kitchen
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager and Sales Manager to create innovative menu for the restaurant, banquet and conference facilities
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise all kitchen staff
• Manage inventory and continually strive to improve food and labour costs
• Employ a hands-on role to ensure consistency and quality
• Maintain high levels of food quality and safety practices
• Create a safe, inclusive environment for all staff and clientele

Skills:

• Proven experience in a leadership role in a restaurant and /or event setting
• Able to motivate kitchen staff to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced environment
• Effectively communicate with culinary team and with all other resort employees particularly Restaurant Manager, Sales and Events Department
• A passion for food that drives you to highlight local produce, be allergen sensitive and appeal to a wide range of guests

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
