Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation process
- Create and develop innovative menus and recipes
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling, preparation, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and catering services
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking
- Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience in the food industry, preferably in a leadership role
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and mixology is a plus
- Excellent food preparation and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage a team
- Experience in food service operations, including menu planning, ordering, and inventory management
