We are looking for an Assistant Manager who has knowledge of restaurant operations, good people skills, great customer service and interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will assist the management team in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, maintain staff morale, and report directly to the Manager. A passion for food service and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment are prerequisites for this position.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the team by performing various clerical tasks
- Manage and maintain Outlook Calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- File and organize documents, ensuring they are easily accessible
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Utilize Google Suite to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Answer phone calls, transfer calls, take messages, and provide excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with proofreading documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office or clerical role is preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel)
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is a plus
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
