Assistant Gas Bar/C-Store Manager

Fort St. John Co-operative is hiring an Assistant Gas Bar/C-Store Manager for our Gas Bar and Convenience Store located at 11432 – 100th Street in Fort St. John, BC.

What you’ll do:

You will provide leadership, direction and training for your team by:

• Applying a broad-based level of operational knowledge and managerial skills to achieve established objectives.

• Promoting and ensuring adherence to brand standards, marketing efforts, image standards, safety and asset protection.

• Providing employees with high levels of training in product knowledge and personal development.

• Ensuring safety and environmental policies, procedures and standards are achieved.

• Developing strong customer relationships and delivering solutions.

• Strongly representing our values of Integrity, Commitment and Responsibility.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• You have completed high school.

• You have 5+ years of relevant experience and 3+ years of leadership experience.

• You’re committed to safety in the workplace.

• You have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.

• You possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.

• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan. The range for this position is $48,038 to $60,048 annually. Starting wage will be commensurate with education and experience.
