Job Description
Griffin Jewellery Designs is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Lindsay Square. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the store and will assist the Store Manager in all areas of operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the store's operations including sales, marketing, customer service, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and counseling employees.
- Ensure that sales goals are achieved and maintained.
- Oversee and manage inventory control in the store.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Oversee customer service at all times.
- Develop productive professional relationships with other team members as well as vendors.
Required Skills
- 1+ years of experience in a retail management role (Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role).
- Demonstrated knowledge of retailing principles and practices preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of management skills preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and vendors.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 – 40 per week

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
