Assistant Managers are essential to the opening/closing procedures of the store and driving the business by supporting their team and manager to provide exceptional service and creating lasting relationships. They are responsible for upholding the store’s presentation, merchandising, organization and quality of service. Assistant Managers are responsible for assisting and mentoring retail ambassadors with continuous coaching and feedback, receiving/restocking inventory, and upholding all company standards. You are expected to support and uphold all decisions, policies and procedures that have been put in place by management. Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Greet customers, build rapport, respond to questions, and improve engagement with merchandise.
- Delivering outstanding customer experience, while maintaining operational expectations within the store
- Handling returns and exchanges using knowledge of store policies and gauging each particular scenario with the product and customer, on a case by case basis
- Support the maintenance of accurate inventory levels
- Assist in training and coaching of Retail Ambassadors
- Assist Store Manager in ensuring that store protocol regarding daily tasks, upkeep, loss prevention are followed by both Keyholder and Sales Ambassadors
- Clear understanding of the online exchange procedure and effectively communicating procedures to customers
- Act as a partner between customers, ambassadors, company leadership, and brand representatives
- Act as an ambassador for the brand, our loyalty program, and our customer engagement strategies (email, SMS, social, forums, giveaways)
- Maintain store image by helping to set and follow merchandising standards
- Demonstrate sales leadership by maintaining an active role on the sales floor
- Demonstrate exceptional product and brand knowledge
- Help track conversion, store sales, marketing conversion metrics, and general goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Operations Management:
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve all operational activities to ensure the store exceeds performance targets.
- Ensure all operations and financial procedures are followed properly
- Hire, train, and manage sales staff.
- Assist in assessing sale performance and recommend staffing/scheduling changes
- Ensure the store and stock room are thoroughly cleaned
- Manage warranty and exchange program
- Maintain all retail procedures and documentation
Skills:
- Customer Service and relationship building
- Ensuring all Retail Ambassadors are providing high-quality customer service
- Solutions oriented mentality; with emphasis on improvising and adapting to any complications, conflicts and disputes
- Experience with Inventory Management
- Detail oriented and observant

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
