What does an Aviation Terminal Security Guard do?

• Providing uniformed, physical security to our client and its customers/visitors
• Keeping a record of visitors/ employees/ contractors entering the plant through security office.
• CCTV surveillance looking for possible threats on different sites
• Responding to Fire Alarm/Emergency Situations
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterrent, and report writing/note taking.
• Liaising with visitors, customers. and the public on a consistent basis
• Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors

Qualifications to be become Aviation Terminal Security Guard in Winnipeg?

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience similar setting will be an Asset
• Valid Manitoba Security License
• RAIC would be an Asset but not Mandatory
• Must have been in Canada for 5 years legally to obtain a RAIC
• Customer service oriented
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful and fast -paced environment
• Flexible to work longer shifts due to flight delays
