What does a Security Guard at The Pas do?
-Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property 
-Deter criminal activity. Guards may be expected to engage in visible deterrence through their presence and by adhering to security procedures. security presence
-Conduct Daily Reports and Incident Reports and send it via emails
-Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
-Monitor access of entryways and exit points 
-Conduct preventive surveillance rounds  
-Point of contact with authorities and emergency services
-Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance. 
Qualifications to become a Security Guard at The Pas
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
-Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
-Customer service oriented
-Must be able to work days
-Leadership and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work in a stressful environment
