Banquet Server

This position requires daytime availability and offers 1-3 shifts per week. Bartending experience is an asset.

We are looking for Banquet Servers and Bartenders to contribute to the success of the Conference Services team. These positions require someone who is hospitable, friendly, and outgoing with a focus on guest service. Along with service, successful candidates will be required to assist with set-up and take-down of event décor. Daytime availability is required.

Qualifications:

• Previous serving/bartending experience an asset, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong serving skills and ability to create engaging and memorable guest experiences that will leave them planning their return visit with us.
• Team player who proactively looks for ways to enhance the level of service and ways to support other team members
• Proven warm and sincere verbal communication skills.
• Effective communication capabilities demonstrating sound judgment.
• Ability to respond to questions from guests offering appropriate options or resolutions.
• Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
• Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holiday

Physical Aspects of Position:

• Continuous walking, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
• Use of cleaning machines and solutions will be required

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $16.75 per hour
