SalaryLiebherr Mining is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a bilingual (English/French) National Service Supervisor. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide effective coaching and supervision to our team members, ensuring seamless operations across various work sites in Canada.This dynamic position requires travel to remote sites across Canada, including Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to work in diverse environments, and a commitment to excellence in service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Electrical and Mechanical Technicians.
- Ensure technicians are following all safety policies and procedures for the site and Liebherr.
- Assist and provide input on all customer job scopes.
- Maintain accurate inventory of onsite Liebherr tools.
- Monitor and control cost-effective purchasing of all consumables.
- Provide leadership, support, and representation for all site technicians.
- Work closely with customer requests and concerns.
- Prepare and implement equipment maintenance program (work with Service Manager).
- Assign all work orders and jobs to technicians and monitor time-in and time-out on jobs.
- Distribute and provide support for all technical improvement and service bulletins to technicians.
- Supervise and oversee all contractors performing work on Liebherr equipment.
Competencies
- Bilingual in French and English is required.
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate or equivalent considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in heavy equipment, mining, or a related field.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Strong organizational and project planning skills.
- Proven diagnostic skills.
- Positive leadership abilities.
