Bill of Material and Purchasing Agent

Seven Continents is hiring for a full-time permanent Bill of Materialsand Purchasing Agent. Regular hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Occasional overtime required.

Located near 401/Keele, we are accessible by car with ample parking or by TTC (nearest station is Wilson subway station).

Note: Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Data Entry
• Microsoft Windows, Excel
• Spire Systems (nice to have)
• Purchasing and receiving experience is an asset

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with engineering, purchasing and production to ensure accurate Bill Of Materials is recorded for manufactured items in Spire
• Create production orders with Bill of Materials and receive orders into finished goods inventory
• Ensure raw Material and finished goods inventory is up to date and accurate

Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create purchase orders
• Communicate with vendors and stakeholders on costs, availability, lead times and status of services and materials
• Monitor and receive stock
