Be our new Branch Manager. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the advice centre team. Your responsibilities include customer service delivery, employee relations and development, community relations, compliance with corporate policies, regulations and direction, and proactive development and growth of retail deposit and lending portfolios through achievement of annual targets and goals.
What you'll do:
- Manage the advice centre - hire, train, coach and measure performance and facilitate team meetings.
- Lead the team in delivering the credit union's vision, values, and commitments.
- Conduct regular meetings for communication, employee or business development, or motivational purposes.
- Manage the branch as a profit center by attaining sales, deposit loans and membership growth goals. Analyze reports, identify trends and identify marketing issues for the branch trade area.
- Ensure integrated service delivery of products and services including financial planning, wealth management, personal mortgages, loans, LOC's, deposits, mutual funds, insurance products, etc. and/or commercial needs of members.
- Evaluate profit/loss potential using available information from information systems combined with personal knowledge and experience within our industry.
- Undertake business development in the branch trade area as required to ensure ongoing growth of membership, asset base and revenues.
- Initiate in-branch campaigns designed to improve branch results.
What you bring:
- Experience and success in managing a retail branch with consistent achievement of goals and targets.
- Strong Leadership skills with the proven ability to coach, influence and train a team.
- Skilled in business development with proven ability to build strong customer relationships that increase the branch portfolio.
- Detailed experience with deposit-related products, personal lending, residential mortgages, and wealth management.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability in building relationships with a wide variety of people.
- Good time management and organization skills.
