We have an experienced and diverse team, including building automation system (BAS) technicians, project managers, engineers, installation/electrical crews and support staff. Accu-Temp is a Honeywell Authorized Control Integrator Elite, in the top 10% in North America.
Accu-Temp designs, installs and services building automation systems, as well as other related analytics and smart building systems. While we have supplied systems for sites across Canada, our work is focused in Southern Ontario and our local community of Kitchener-Waterloo. Accu-Temp has a diverse client list, including commercial, multi-residential, municipalities, school boards, hospitals, post secondary institutions, developers, and industrial clients.

Job Duties:
- Site service – Responsive and preventative maintenance visits. Carrying out diagnostics, repairs, adjustments, recommissioning, controller and component replacements, answer customer inquiries
- Remote support – Work with building operators, property managers and other trades. Offering user support/training, investigating occupant concerns and provide BAS support for equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Gas detection system tests and calibrations
- Troubleshoot BAS programs, test, tune and modify software as needed to optimize building equipment operation, energy utilization, indoor air quality and occupant comfort.
- Troubleshoot third party equipment and integrations to BAS
- Perform customer training and technical support for end-users with a variety of professional backgrounds
- Manage scheduling of assigned work orders and submit reports through mobile app
- Working at heights – Following proper fall protection
- Carry out all work in a safe manner, following all applicable healthy and safety company policies and government legislation/regulations.
- Regular coordination with Service Director; submitting service notes, assisting with pricing follow-up repairs, discussing customer support needs
- Occasional support for construction team; graphic work, commissioning support, etc
Qualifications:
- Previous related and applicable BAS experience.
- Graduate of a relevant BAS program at the college or university level is an asset.
- Experience with building automation networking protocols (BACNet, TCP/IP, FOX, Lonworks, modbus, etc…)
- Experience working with Tridium/Niagara framework.
- Experienced with mechanical systems and HVAC.
- Ability read and understand control drawings, electronic schematics, electrical diagrams and construction drawings.
- Ability to travel when required
- Excellence in written and verbal communication to communicate clearly with the customers, mechanical contractors and fellow employees.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving history to operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work in teams and independently and perform required job duties to ensure customer satisfaction.
