SalarySuccessful candidate must have A+ Certification with at least 5 years of experience in desktop and network troubleshooting. Experience with setup and configuration of small office wireless networks, range extenders, access points, network shares and network printer setup is a must. It is expected that our successful candidate would have vast knowledge in all of the current windows desktop environments, as well as some working knowledge of the Windows Server Environments, some experience in the MAC OS environment would also be a plus.
Our hopeful candidate must have a reasonable knowledge base in all Microsoft Office Products. Experience with installing Sage Accounting and QuickBooks is a plus. Qualified technician must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and suitable vehicle that you would be using to travel to service call location (vehicle use compensation will be provided).
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for clients, primarily in the Olds and Sundre areas
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of network and server systems
- Troubleshoot network and system problems to identify and resolve issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in Tier 2 Tech Support
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience in providing technical support for hardware and software issues related to servers, desktops, and laptops
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with clients
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must live in Olds or be able to commute to the Olds area to complete onsite work requests
