We're also looking at what's next for you and how we can help you build a career you're proud of. The Business Technology Coordinator manages requests for equipment and software order coordination. This role is essential for maintaining efficient Business Technology department operations with a strong focus on details, tracking and reporting. They keep records up to date, deliver excellent customer service, and assist with general support for the department's administration.
Here's how a Business Technology Coordinator for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
-Updates entries and prepares monthly equipment billing reporting in JDE E1.
-Assists in ensuring departmental compliance with timelines, reporting, etc.
-Maintains and updates records and databases of procurement activities and documents.
-Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions according to organizational policies and procedures.
-Develops and maintains constructive, cooperative, and customer focused working relationships with suppliers, internal and external customers, and projects.
-Coordinates with suppliers, relevant internal departments, and project customers.
-Participates in end-user software fulfillment including purchasing, assigning, and tracking software requests as well as providing current users with notice of upcoming renewals. 
-Identifies and implements cost-saving and efficiency-improving processes. 
-Manages and reviews corporate credit card and employee expense statements and assists in reconciling them.
-Assists in the coordination and execution/support of meetings and/or special events.
-Provides backup for arranging travel, hotel, and car rental reservations and other department assistant duties as required. 
-Other duties as required may include mail distribution and courier responsibilities, organizing and ordering office/business supplies and arranging for maintenance of shared office equipment.
-Able to mentor and coach other more junior, administrative support staff.
-Willing and able to work in and adapt to change.
 
Qualifications
-High school diploma.
-Post-secondary degree or diploma or certificate in a related field (office administration, logistics, procurement) is considered an asset.
-3 or more years of administrative experience. 
-Strong computer literacy; advanced skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
-Knowledge of JDE E1 is considered an asset.
-Excellent verbal (expression and comprehension) and written communication skills.
-Professional and service-oriented approach internally and externally.
-Good interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and diplomatically.
-Self-management skills with a high level of detail orientation to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines. 
-Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment.
-Able to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information. 
-Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
-Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
