Cafe One Restaurant Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities.
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Take customer orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages to customers with a positive attitude
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any customer inquiries
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set up before seating customers
- Monitor customer needs and promptly address any issues or requests
- Process customer payments using the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

Skills.

- Food preparation: Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and ability to handle food safely.
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Kitchen knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen operations and understanding of different types of cuisine.
- Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for order taking and processing payments.
- Food safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- POS system: Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system for order processing.
- Hospitality: A warm and welcoming demeanor that creates a positive dining experience for customers.
