Reporting to the Fleet & Yard Supervisor, this role is responsible for providing superior customer service while completing assigned carpentry work/tasks for Kent Homes and its clients. The ideal candidates will be safety-minded, efficient, and will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced-ever changing environment. The candidates should be able to work independently, have a keen eye for detail and have solid knowledge in home repairs.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- General, Rough and Finish Carpentry duties
- A graduate from a recognized Carpentry program with a Carpentry Certificate OR equivalent experience
- Industry repair and maintenance experience with respect to roofing, finish work, painting, framing, windows, doors, flooring, countertops, and siding
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Perform all duties of the job with a high degree of safety consciousness
- Be customer service oriented with strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record (drivers abstract will be requested)
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Physically able to perform all aspects of the job
- Work collaboratively with all team members
- Working from heights
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The successful applicant will be working in both an inside climate-controlled building, as well as working outdoors in the heat, cold, rain and snow. The successful applicant will be required to lift 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The job entails walking, sitting, standing, reaching, and climbing using a ladder, bending and twisting.
