Cashier/Customer Service/Receiver

Job description

• Customer service
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Redeem stamps and coupons
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
• Stock & clean shelves
• Receive and order stock as needed

Requirements

• Strong PC knowledge
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service

Preferred

• Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales

Growth opportunity

• Preference will be given to individuals looking to grow in the job by learning some of the other responsiblilites of the store. For example : receiving, ordering, building displays, pharmacy assistant, home health equipment.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.75 per hour

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Day shift
