Certified Physician Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including Long term care, retirement home and medical office.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses under the supervision of a physician.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Requirements:
-VALID PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT LICENCE OF ONTARIO
- Experience working in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, such as Telus PS suite.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Physician Assistant: 1 year (required)
• EMR: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Physician Assistant Certification in Ontario (required)

Ability to Commute:

• Georgina, ON (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Georgina, ON: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
