Medical Office Assistant (Clinical)

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with doctors and nurses to help with medical examinations and schedule tests

Patient preparation, including patient history, measuring vital signs, and recording in the patient's electronic medical file (P.S. Suite).

Specimen collection and processing

Assisting physicians with procedures

Patient referrals and diagnostic bookings

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program. Consideration will be given to a PSW with Medical Office experience.

Proficient knowledge of an Electronic Medical Record (P.S. Suite)

Sound knowledge of medical terminology

Ability to multi task and prioritize in a fast paced team environment

Excellent organizational skills

Proof of COVID vaccination is required

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $19.46-$20.60 per hour
