Seeking a medical administrative assistant to work with two doctors' offices (time spent each week in both offices). Must have experience in a similar position. Full or part-time hours available for the right candidate.
Job duties:
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule and confirm medical appointments with patients
- Manage and triage new patient referrals
- Register patients when they arrive at the doctor’s office, bring them to exam rooms, take vitals
- Update patient records
- Basic IT troubleshooting
- OHIP reconcilliation
- Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence
- Help patients complete documents and medical history forms
- Maintain confidential medical history files

- Written and oral communication skills

- Analytical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with computer software
Experience requirements:
One year of working in a doctor's office preferred.
Must have experience using an EMR (preferably Accuro).
Must have knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
