Currently hiring a FULL time permanent Clinical Aid for Spirometry testing for a well established and busy clinic. We're looking for an experienced and work driven individual looking to start and grow with us. Based on skills, qualifications and performance, salary will be competitive.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical duties mainly include spirometry testing, taking patient’s heights and weights for testing, updating/maintaining patient medical records and generating reports into patient charts
⁃ Spirometry testing pre and post bronchodilator
- Calling patients to schedule and confirm patient appointments
⁃ Sanitizing & filling spirometry test rooms and greeting patients
- Handling referrals and correspondence
- Maintaining strict confidentiality according to the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA)
- Working with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and service.
- Uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Medigroup's Code of Conduct.
Essential Requirements:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Quick learner
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Skills in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, patients, and medical personnel
Asset Qualifications:
- Previous spirometry experience is GREATLY PREFERRED
- EMR (Accuro) experience is PREFERRED
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience providing service to members of the public

Salary: $18.00-$21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
