Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist

- Strong ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude to colleagues and clients;
- Excellent judgment, time management and organizational abilities;
- Ability to work independently;
- Handling of medical documents and correspondence, in both standard format and e-health applications;
- Scanning and uploading of medical documents using EMR ( (PS Suite knowledge would be an asset);
- Strong computer and telephone skills;
- Ability to communicate professionally with external Medical Offices, hospitals, laboratories;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both official languages would be an asset);
- Ability to maintain and protect confidentiality, professional ethics and patient relations;
- Scheduling;

The Office Administrator would be working for and with:
3 Respirologists
2 Respiratory Therapists
2 Front Office Administrators

Salary: $16.00- 18.00 per hour, based on previous experience/education

Vacation pay: 4%

COVID-19 considerations:
It's a Medical Office - so all the typical precautions are in place.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
