Sunnybrae Golf Club is a well-loved and busy club in Port Perry. With a cafe, patio and banquet hall, we offer a variety of dining options for quick meals as well as fine-dining experiences. Sunnybrae is looking for a Chef that can support in not only running the kitchen but also creating the menu.

Role:

Sunnybrae is looking for a skilled Chef responsible for the kitchen and events catering. The Chef is responsible for running the kitchen, ordering F&B supplies and following purchasing program guidelines, and preparing food for service.

Requirements:

• Prepare and cook a variety of cuisine for all daily menu dining outlets and banquets, using skill, creativity, and cost-effective methods.
• Responsible for supervising / managing / overseeing all food operations.
• Comply with all regulatory health and safety codes, working towards creating a strong workplace health and safety environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a kitchen in a similar environment
• Experience in line cooking is required, experience in banquet preparation is an asset
• Excellent customer relations and skills.
• Strong cost control skills.
• Health & safety and sanitation control knowledge (Food handlers permit)

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
