Overview:

We are looking for experienced Chef, Cook and Food Runners to join our team at an Indian Take Out restaurant. If you have a passion for Indian cuisine and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Plan and execute menus in accordance with customer preferences and dietary restrictions

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards

- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities, including training and scheduling - Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen - Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry

- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and service techniques

- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
