We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at West Street Willy's Eatery. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality dishes to our customers. If you have a passion for food, strong culinary skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices

- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and preparing dishes according to established standards

- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment

- Ensure that food is cooked properly and served at the correct temperature

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation of meals

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred but not required, we will train the right candidates

- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Knowledge of different cooking techniques and culinary terminology

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
