Job Description:
Amalfi's Trattoria & Bar is currently seeking Line Cooks to join our passionate culinary team. While experience is valued, we welcome individuals with a genuine passion for cooking and a desire to learn. If you have a love for Italian cuisine and a willingness to contribute to our kitchen, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes with an Italian flare, following recipes and maintaining quality standards
- Ensure that all food items are prepared and served according to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed
- Embrace opportunities for learning and skill development in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Passion for food and a desire to learn new culinary techniques
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Food handlers certificate is preferred but not required (training can be provided)

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
