Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company and provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including financial modeling and analysis
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular reports to the executive team
- Lead the annual audit process and ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors
- Identify and evaluate business development opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
Experience:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable outcomes in complex financial transactions
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building high-performing finance teams
- Experience in business development, including identifying growth opportunities and executing strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles and practices, including GAAP
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
