Child Care Assistant

About The Role:

At Discovery Child Care Centre you will work as an assistant teacher alongside some of the most passionate, caring and dedicated educators in the industry. You will spend your days immersed in outdoor, natural environments and spend your time engaging and connecting children with nature. You will model a growth mindset through collaborative inquiry and share your passion with the natural world.You will strive for a deeper understanding of cultivating an ecological identity for children, families, educators, and the community. Educators in this role ensure they operate from respect, gratitude and awareness,for the natural world. They are passionate about life-long learning and possess resilience. They ensure that their daily contributions operate in alignment with our core values.

You are passionate about spending the majority of your days outdoors and see the value in connecting children with the natural world. You are inspired to bring quality early learning and care, emergent curriculum and life-long learning to the lives of children.
