Child Care Worker

Hours:
Before School Care: 7:00 – 9:00am
After School Care: 2:00 – 5:15pm

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime and meals
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols

Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to connect with children and build positive relationships
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and activities
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 26.25 per week

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (required)
