SalarySupport Worker-Respite in home
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to children with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities
- Assist children with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Promote independence and encourage chioften to participate in community activities
- Create and implement individualized care plans based on the needs and goals of each individual
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior to parents
- Collaborate wit's family to ensure the well-being of the individuals
-Willing to learn about Fetal Alchol Spectrum Disorder .
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children with disabilities is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
We are looking for individual (s) willing to learn about FASD and become part of our "team". This may include spending time in our home with our children or taking them to participate in activities individually or as a family .
-Ideally we would have a set time each week for our child to be in your care but could potentially work on a alternate schedule .
-Pay is based on experience and will be negotiated based on skill set and relevance to job discription .
