Job description
We are looking for a part-time Child Support Worker who would be able to work with a child with autism spectrum disorder in the family home under supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
Successful candidate will receive 40 hours of training to become a registered behavior technician and paid for that training to be completed before March 31st 2024. The candidate will also receive 3 days of in-person training in Toronto from a team of trained Behaviour Innovations staff.
Once trained you would assist a child in their family home in the town of Campbellford, for three 3-hour shifts, a total of 9 hours a week plus travel time. There will be an additional 1-2 hours of weekly prep and meeting time that can be done remotely.
NOTE: Interviews may be virtually or onsite.

Pay: $23/hr including pay for the 40 hours of training.

Responsibilities:
· Providing individualized supports to children with ASD (autism)
· Implementing client specific goals based on principles of ABA and other evidence-based practices
· Work with client in their home and the community at large
· Collect, manage, and analyze data/daily documentation relevant to the clients’ specific programs and goals; participate/contribute to case coordination and multi-disciplinary service dialogue.
· Meet with the BCBA weekly to discuss programming revisions, data and treatment planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
· A minimum of 1 full years of experience with children, preferrable with those with complex needs.
· College diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline (PSW, CYW, DSW, BA, BSC). Those who have graduated from high school only will be considered if they have experience.
