pavement preservation and roadway construction across Western Canada. West-Can Seal Coating Inc.
has been in business for over 35 years. As one of the largest pavement preservation companies in Western
Canada, West-Can operates offices located in Didsbury and Bruderheim (Alberta) and Brandon
(Manitoba). These divisions provide services in Asphalt Milling, Pulverizing, Grading, various Pavement

West-Can is seeking qualified candidates to join our team for the upcoming 2024 season.
Core Responsibilities:
Obey all traffic laws
Conduct pre-trip inspections & light maintenance
Report mechanical deficiency to foreman and/or on site mechanic
Transport goods
Track fuel consumption and vehicle mileage
Maintain electronic daily driver logs as required for federal motor carriers
Maintain IFTA paperwork (daily)
Active participation in health and safety program, compliance with all workplace safety policies,
procedures, acts, and regulations
Requirements:
Previous road construction experience required
Ability to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per shift)
Willingness to travel and spend extended time away from home, including out of province work
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Class 1 Driver’s license, with a clean drivers abstract
Standard First-Aid level C with CPR/AED is an asset
Qualities of a successful candidate:
A successful candidate shall be physically fit, hardworking individual who possesses a strong awareness of
work place and commercial transportation safety. Candidate must possess the ability to work both
independently as well as in a team environment. Candidate must have experience as a Class 1 Driver, with
the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
