As our new Class 1Truck Driver/Vac Truck Operator, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from worksites. This role will generally drive a Class 1 truck hauling equipment and/or materials in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings.

To set yourself up for success in this role, you will already have:

• A minimum of five (5) years experience.
• Valid driver’s license Class 1 with air brake endorsement with clean drivers abstract.
• Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Good equipment management practices including daily servicing, recognition and reporting of equipment problems and upkeep.
• Ability to follow direction and perform in a team environment or work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Work as a swamper when required.
• Use hand tools and other equipment.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to safety and understanding of safety procedures and requirements.
• Basic computer skills.
