CLERK, HUMAN RESOURCES
(Temporary, February 5 to August 30, 2024, $24.85/hr.)
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Human Resources the incumbent is primarily
responsible for providing support to the recruitment function, assisting with WSIB claims
administration, maintaining employee files, updating job descriptions, and other clerical duties as
assigned.
Successful applicants will possess the following:
- Currently enrolled in or successful completion of a Human Resources Diploma or Certificate
- Six months’ relevant work experience in a related field (including the handling of labour relations
- Requires a high level of clerical and professional accuracy, dependability and understanding of
degree of judgment and discretion.
- Demonstrable knowledge of MS office software products and experience with a Human
- Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.
- Ability to recognize and preserve confidential information is essential.
- Must be able to understand and execute oral and written instructions (in English).
- Strong minute taking skills.
- Possesses well-developed organizational, interpersonal, customer service and communication
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Must be prepared to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Screening as a condition of employment.
Salary: $24.85/hr. (based on a 35-hour work week).
