The HR Recruiter/Generalist role reports to the HR Manager working both in the office and remotely. This position requires experience in high volume recruitment, and generalist knowledge responsible for full cycle recruitment, onboarding, and aiding in payroll activities. This position involves a high degree of organizational, people, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- High volume field personnel recruitment will be the main focus for this role (approx. 10-20 individuals per month) Full cycle recruitment across Canada including creation of job descriptions, postings jobs, screening resumes, performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates, and the creation of offer letters Conduct employee onboarding via ADP Workforce Now and help organize training Aid in payroll tasks such adding employee profiles and preparing/ inputting timesheets Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as payroll, onboarding, and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form Ensure compliance with employment/labor laws such as the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health/Safety Act, AODA, and applicable legislation Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Previous experience as a high-volume recruiter and HR generalist Expertise in full cycle recruitment
- ADP Workforce Now experience is considered as asset
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures Detail oriented and task driven Good knowledge of employment/labor laws, and appliable Canadian legislation Excellent communication and people skills Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
