Position: HR Recruiter
Reports To:Human Resources Manager
Summary
Reporting to the HRM, the incumbent is responsible for conducting day-to-day recruitment activities including: modifying and drafting job postings, pre-screening, interviewing, reference checking, facilitating pre-employment requirement, and scheduling in-person interviews;
Job Responsibilities
- The Recruiter is responsible for full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, testing, and managing candidates through the hiring process, onboarding.
- Considerable skill needed in various sourcing methodologies, interviewing techniques.
- Strong consultative skills needed to build candidate relationships, evaluate and recommend candidates for both current openings and building a talent bench.
- Pro-actively understand hiring managers needs and provide high communication and follow up to candidates and hiring managers.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
- Manage candidate assessment process; evaluate skill level, manage offer process, oversee background/reference checks and any necessary testing, etc
- Must have extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and provincial laws regarding employment practices.
- The Recruiter will be responsible for building a pipeline to support positions fundamental to business operations.
- Developing short- and long-term strategies and plans to attract and retain HPG/Trimaster staff to meet ongoing needs within the organization;
- Performing any other duties assigned by the HRM

Work Conditions
Office environment, with constant sitting.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 years recruitment experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with data entry, data management
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized Ability to handle multiple projects with a high level of integrity and confidentiality as it relates to sensitive information.
- Above average computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and Internet.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
- Some travel to other location in Guelph, ON
