Job Description

The Client Service Representative is responsible for ensuring that each client receives the best possible care and attention. This is achieved by greeting/acknowledging each client, identifying his/her needs, and providing prompt and accurate information, while maintaining a pleasant and professional atmosphere.
This position will start February 2024 with training at our Duncan office and goes until April 30, 2024.

Duties

• Greets and welcomes each client
• Determines the client’s service needs
• Answers the telephone in a professional manner, providing callers with basic information about services and fees when requested
• Receives, receipts and secures cash, cheques, debit/credit card payments
• Balances the cash as part of the opening and/or closing procedures
• Files tax folders daily
• Schedules client appointments
• Maintains proper office appearance and cleanliness
• Assists with Docusign documents
• Other related duties

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service environment
• Must have good reading, organizational and math skills
• Ability to operate a computer and applicable software packages
• Must be willing to work flexible hours

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Salary: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• North Cowichan, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
