Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve food products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
- Conduct research and experiments to create new recipes and formulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product development processes
- Conduct sensory evaluations and analyze data to make informed decisions
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with Food Safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product quality or production efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies
- Work on Assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Certificate in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety regulations and quality control procedures
- Proficiency in using food processing equipment and machinery
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for recipe formulations and ingredient measurements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge for operating food processing equipment
- Packaging experience for ensuring proper packaging of food products
- Forklift operation skills for handling materials and ingredients
- Knowledge of food industry standards and regulations
- Ability to sanitate equipment and work areas according to Food Safety guidelines
- Basic math skills for recipe calculations and measurements
- Ability to fabricate prototypes or samples for testing purposes
